It is not the 1940's anymore Grandpa. Steel and wood isn't cutting it anymore and while aluminum parts are new to the platform there was another rifle that did it better in the 60's. So how do you make this heavy platform better? You use modern materials. Our carbon fiber parts will run cooler and have less weight v.s. aluminum. Holding your left arm out with a 12 lbs rifle isn't my version of fun. Removing any amount of weight will make the rifle easier to shoot, your arm will thank us.
